The Deutz banks of the Rhine river gained a new urban appearance thanks to the complete reconstruction of the former Lufthansa high rise.
This is where around 1400 high quality office work-stations arise in direct city location with a straight view on the historic district of Cologne and the Dom cathedral.
The goal to realise the optimal user comfort is achieved by revitalising a new facade, an energy-efficient and sus-tainable energy supply and the use of geothermal en-ergy. The integrated planning and sustainability object-ives will be coordinated and implemented by a dedicated construction team in 2013. The maxCologne achieved the best result with 90,9% according to the DGNB degree of fulfillment.
