Peter Backwaren – Essen

The new manufactory by Peter Backwaren with a gross floor area of ​​approximately 2,100 m² is an additional extension to the previous production area of their family enterprise. The photovoltaic plant with a 110 kWh performance on top of the hall roof forms the bakery's foundation for future electric mobility. Just as analogical to the existing hall from 1994, resource-saving and non-pollutant materials have been used. The quality of planning was tested from a preliminary design to the actual operation by a building, plant and daylight simulation. The specific requirements of the baking process were coordinated in close cooperation with the client and the planners and thus formed the basis for the holistic planning of the new building.

The photovoltaic system with an output of 110 kWp on the roof is the basis for the future electro mobility of the bakery company.
