23.02.2017 / Cologne - IFES holds a lecture about the compliance of fire protecting requirements with the help of simulations at FeuerTRUTZ, the fair for preventive fire protection.

In case of a rebuilding, conversion or renovation of special buildings, it is a major challenge to implement current fire protection requirements within the existing building concept.

Due to structural and cost reasons often a compliance with standard limit values is not possible. Simulations take into account both physical / structural aspects and the fire protection control. Thus, it is possible to map the interaction of different fire protection measures realistically and even solve complex problems with focus on realistic situations and economic solutions.

The target group of the event were fire protection engineers, building system engineers, project controllers and representatives of the fire department and building authorities.
